A 2011 Mercedes Benz F-Cell Hydrogen Fuel-Cell car is seen on display at the LA Auto Show in Los Angeles November 17, 2010. When completed in 2012, the plant will first supply the company with fuel cell stacks for its small fleet of hydrogen powered vehicles. But Mercedes hopes to grow that fleet from about 200 to 10,000 in the next two to three years.

Health Minister Colin Hansen said the change, to take effect April 1, will put the emphasis on preventive measures and give family doctors more time and resources to treat patients with alcohol addiction. "It's saying to family physicians that if they identify somebody that has a chronic alcohol problem, they can treat them in the same way they would treat complex illnesses," he said.

Strong buyer demand has continued to push up prices in many parts of Vancouver, but the overall market conditions are starting to balance out, according to a monthly report by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV). The latest numbers show that while prices were up overall from a year ago, the amount of increase greatly depended on location.
